We collaborate with food companies to purchase surplus food at significant discounts, ensuring that it is delivered directly to schools in need. This initiative helps address food insecurity and supports the health and well-being of students, enabling them to focus on their education and succeed academically.
We are proud to have a network of global changemakers supporting our school uniform campaign to provide school uniforms for needy students who are unable to comply with the government mandate, causing them to feel excluded. Advancing Africa Through Education raised funds by selling branded T-shirts for $60.00 USD each. The proceeds from each shirt cover the cost of manufacturing and purchasing one school uniform for a low-income student, ensuring that they can attend school with dignity and participate fully in their education.
Advancing Africa Through Education, in collaboration with our global sponsors, replaced over 150 outdated and insufficient schoolbooks with new, high-quality learning materials. We conducted a thorough review of the books used by students at disadvantaged schools and worked closely with school administrators and teachers to prioritize the most urgent book replacements, ensuring students have access to the resources they need for academic success.
